Morning blues 06 am one cold winter morning, while the mercury obstinately remained below -20 C, the artificial light blending with the early faint light of dawn, provided for crisp pictures with a pleasing palette.
On a personal note, I nearly got into a serious accident on the stretch after the bridge a few months before. As I approached the long curve from this direction, a car approached it from the opposite side at a very high speed. At the sharpest point of the turn, the opposing car spun wildly out of control - right in front of my car. However, through a quirk of fortune, it spun in a manner that made it narrowly miss my car. It did, however, career right into the bus behind me, and the ensuing violent collision threw both the bus and the car off the road. Fortunately, the bus remained upright on impact with the soft fields next to the road, and serious passenger injuries were avoided.
