Palmenglow

The atmospheric conditions at this warm oceanshore cause some interesting illumination effects from time to time. On this day, with enough reflective moisture having accumulated in the haze, the sun's rays were markedly diffused by the time they reached the shore.

I dubbed this effect the 'Palmenglow', as a pun on its Alpine equivalent, the Alpenglow.
