Driving the old economy

In stark contrast to the emerging dot-com economy are these antediluvian dinosaurs of public transportation. These charmingly archaic buses (supposedly to be replaced in 2001) transport people between the towns. Note such adorable details as the cash 'bottle' next to the driver, where a fare of $2 (cash only, no change!) will gain you entrance to the bus, the 'Please remain seated until the bus comes to a full stop'-sign, and the retro-fitted office fans for keeping the front windows clear. So cute, so adorable and so scrumptiously old-fashioned!
