The ShackDot effect

Not even the largely rural Annapolis Valley has been able to escape the dot-com mania of yesteryear. This cute little shack houses the only dot-com company I stumbled on in the Valley, the aptly named ValleyWeb.com. Don't get me wrong - I actually like responsible use of dot-com funding like this. Too many dot-coms (the real Y2K disaster, if you ask me) commonly used and still use frivolous amounts of their million-dollar funding (other people's money) to buy lavish offices for jobs that could just as well be performed from a basement.
